Hauntingly Fun Halloween Activities in Lodi and Stockton

Fall is a wonderful season: the kids are back in school, the leaves are starting to change colors and the weather is starting to cool (or will start to cool…one day) and pumpkin spice lattes are back on the scene.
Here’s a list of fun Halloween events happening in Lodi and Stockton during the month of October:
Stockton Trick R Treat Big Rig Truck Show, San Joaquin County Fairgrounds (Stockton)
Saturday, October 1st & Sunday, October 2nd | 9-6pm
Get into the Halloween spirit and enjoy a big rig truck show! This show features a haunted house, lots of great food, BBQ, live bands, kids area, and an all big rig swap meet. General admission is $10, kids 12 and under are free.
Manteca Kiwanis Pumpkin Fair, Downtown Manteca
Saturday, October 1st & Sunday, October 2nd | 9-6pm
The Manteca Sunrise Kiwanis are hosting its annual Pumpkin Fair in Downtown Manteca. Enjoy a haunted house, two stages for live entertainment, a car show on Sunday (from 9am-3pm), a Kids Zone and over 150 booths of pumpkin-flavored foods, music, crafts and so much more.
Pumpkin Maze, Dell’Osso Family Farms
Month of October | 10-9pm
Get lost for the fun of it at the Dell’Osso Family Farms’ 20th Annual Pumpkin Maze! Open daily at 10am (gates close at 8pm and attractions will begin to close at 9pm depending on crowds/weather), enjoy the corn maze, haunted house, train and hay rides, petting zoo, law games, super slide, Kids’ Zone and much more!
Wicked Wine Stroll, Downtown Lodi
Saturday, October 15th | 6-9pm
Enjoy a ghoulishly fun night of wine tasting, shopping and fun! Approximately 25 wineries will be pouring their newest vintages, School Street’s shops and boutiques will serve delectable appetizers with special shopping discounts and check out the winners of the costume contest. Tickets are $30 in advance and $40 the day of the event.
Night of the Living Dead (1968), Peirano Estate Vineyards
Saturday, October 15th | 7-9pm
This horror classic is a scream! Watch George Romero’s original zombie blockbuster outside under the stars. Come dressed in your best Zombie garb and participate in the Zombie Costume Contest for supernatural prizes.
Family Movie Night: Hocus Pocus, Hutchins Street Square
Friday, October 21st | 6pm
Hutchins Street Square presents a fun, family –friendly screening of Hocus Pocus at the Charlene Powers Lange Theatre. Dress your little ghosts and goblins in costume and stop by! Food and beverages will be available for purchase and tickets are only 75 cents.
Fall Festival, Downtown Transit Center (Stockton)
Friday, October 28th | 3-6pm
The San Joaquin Regional Transit District (RTD) is hosting its annual Fall Festival! Enjoy a fun family night with carnival games, a haunted bus, face painting, live music, trick-or-treating and more. Work up an appetite having fun and then stop by the food trucks for dinner. Admission is $1 for teens/adults and free for kids 12 and under.
Presentation Parish School Trunk-or-Treat, Presentation Parish School (Stockton)
Friday, October 28th | 5:30-9pm
Gather your ghouls and ghosts for a family friendly early start to trick-or-treating! Kids will get free treats from the trunks of decorated cars and enjoy a parade, carnival activities and entertainment, costume and decorated car contests and pumpkin decorating. Admission is free and canned good donations will be accepted at the door.
Punkin Chunkin, World of Wonders Science Museum
Saturday, October 29th | 10-3pm
Bring your pumpkins (or buy them on-site) to the WOW Science Museum and watch them fly at the WOW’s Punkin Chunkin event. The WOW will be teaming up with local sponsor Phillips Farms to bring you pumpkin hurling activities. Also be sure to check out their brand new Tinkering area where kids can build their own candy corn catapults. General admission applies and $1 donation to launch.
Dia De Los Muertos, Hutchins Street Square
Saturday, October 29th | 3-9pm
Celebrate The Day of the Dead at Hutchins Street Square with live music, dancing, food, kid activities, altars and an art show. This free event will also feature the movie The Book of Life in English and Spanish.
Pops I: The Haunted Melody, San Joaquin Delta College (Stockton)
Saturday, October 29th & Sunday, October 30th | 6pm and 2:30pm
It’ll be a night of Halloween musical treats and a few tricks to keep you on the edge of your seat at the Stockton Symphony’s evening of haunting melodies that will include Harry Potter, Psycho, Night on Bald Mountain, Phantom of the Opera, and other scary surprises.
Zombie Walk, Downtown Lodi
Saturday, October 29th | 8pm
The Zombie Walk is your chance to bring out your inner monster and walk with zombies along the historic streets of Downtown Lodi. Come out, play, dance, sing and have a fun time in a happy horde of zombies. You don’t have to dress up in to enjoy the fun.
Haunted Hutchins, Hutchins Street Square
Monday, October 31st | 5pm
Creep, float or crawl over to Haunted Hutchins. This creepy experience will have your skin crawling and is recommended for ages eight and up (parental discretion is strongly advised). Tickets are only $3.
