In order to begin the buying process FCB Homes does require a buyer to obtain a pre-approval letter through our Preferred Lender. However, buyers are not required to use the Preferred Lender to finance their home. One benefit of using a Preferred Lender is that they are familiar with the builder, sales staff, policies and requirements. Since the Preferred Lender knows what both the buyer and builder need from the beginning to the end of the building process this will help facilitate a smooth and timely closing.
You should first meet with your New Home Representative to see the available inventory and discuss which home meets your needs, timeline and budget. Your New Home Representative can explain the buying process, timeline, and requirements if you have a current home to sell.
