FCB Homes Announces Lodi’s First New Home Development in Nearly a Decade

Central Valley’s premiere homebuilder breaks ground on 50-acre
master-planned community with three residential neighborhoods.

LODI, Calif. – October 15, 2014 – FCB Homes, one of the Central Valley’s most trusted and longstanding residential developers and homebuilders, has announced the start of the final phase of site construction on the new Rose Gate master-planned community. The project is located in northwest Lodi, Calif. and will include twelve model homes, a 5-acre community park and pedestrian connectivity within the development and to surrounding areas.

Rose Gate will offer three distinct residential villages with architecture designed by the award-winning firms of Bassenian-Lagoni of Newport Beach, California and William Hezmalhalch Architects and Planners of Irvine, California. The architectural styles will include: Tuscan, Spanish, Monterey, Traditional, French and Italianate. At the heart of the community is Rose Gate Park, which upon completion, will feature a large playfield, playground equipment for children of all ages, swings, a picnic pavilion, park benches and a lighted pathway around the parks perimeter.

The villages at Rose Gate will showcase three unique single-family home series and will vary in size and design. The Jubilee Series will feature four floor plans, ranging in size from 1,946 to 2,876 square feet. These one and two-story homes will be three to five bedrooms and will include plan options such as lofts, dens and formal dining rooms. Next, the Artistry Series will offer four plans, with both one and two-story homes and will range in size from 1,946 to over 3,700 square feet. These plans will have two and three-car variations (per plan). Finally, the Celebration Series will include four single-story and two, two-story floor plan designs, with two and three-car garages, per plan. These homes will range in size from 2,200 to over 3,700 square feet and will offer many designer features.
Rose Gate’s site construction progress has been brisk. The installation of the underground is almost completed and work on the Lodi Avenue round-a-bout is well underway. The sidewalks are being installed and street paving, park construction, completion of the perimeter fencing, installation of the decorative street lights are scheduled for December 2014. The Jubilee Series models are anticipated to begin construction by the end of the year. The Jubilee Series Model Home opening is planned for late Spring 2015 and sales are expected to commence in early 2015.
